1000kV Tank-Type Capacitive Voltage Transformer

This product replaces the traditional oil-paper composite insulation series structure with a single coaxial gas-insulated design, making it ideal for 1000kV UHV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). It has successfully overcome multiple key technical challenges, including equipment structural design, determination of critical technical parameters, suppression of very fast transient overvoltages, manufacturing processes, equivalent testing methods, and operational error monitoring. These breakthroughs have helped break foreign technological monopolies in China’s UHV sector. The product has been successfully deployed in the Huainan-to-Shanghai UHV AC transmission demonstration project under the Anhui Power Transmission to East China initiative.
