UHV DC Disconnector, ZGW8-1100

The successful development of the ZGW8-1100 ultra-high voltage DC disconnector and the ZJN-1100 valve hall earthing switch has filled a critical gap in both domestic and international markets, achieving a world-leading technological breakthrough. These switches have been in operation since September 2019 in the Changji–Guquan ±1100kV UHVDC transmission project—the world’s most advanced ultra-high voltage transmission system, distinguished by the highest voltage level, largest transmission capacity, and longest transmission distance.
